첫번째 이야기는 다른세계로의 시작을 알렸다면 두번째는 본격적인 모험이 시작됩니다.
부라우니인 팀블레텍(Thimbletack)의 충고를 무시한 자레드는 고블린이라는 괴물에게 시몬을 구출하러 숲속으로 누나 말로리와 함께 들어갑니다.
Seeing Stone으로 숲의 진정한 모습을 볼수 있게된 자레드는 이제 숲속이 그냥 숲이 아니예요.
살아있는 숲... 신비하지만 무서운 곳이기도 한 곳.
그 속에서 요정도 만나고 무시무시한 트롤도 만나게 되지요.
고블린에게 붙잡여 바베큐가 될 뻔한 시몬을 구출하면서 고블린의 한 종류인 호브고블린을 구출하게 되요.
게다가 무시무시한 고블린은 트롤의 제물들이 되고...^^
이렇게 끝나면 좀 아쉽죠?
그래서인지 다친 그린핀이 등장하고, 그레이스 세 남매는 그린핀을 자신의 집으로 데려가 보살펴 줍니다.
왠지 다음편에는 그린핀과의 이야기가 전개될것 같은 예감이 드네요^^
역시나 100페이지밖에 안되는 짧은 판타지라 그런지 읽기 그리 부담스럽지는 않답니다.
