We were standing in front of a painting with two white water lilies. I stepped a little closer to the picture and looked at it. It was then I noticed that the lilies were nothing but blobs and blotched of paint. But when I stepped away again, they turned into real water lilies floaing in a pond-magic!
"How could he know how to paint like that?" I asked Mr. Bloom. "He had to stand near the canvas to paint, so how did he know what it would look like from a distance?"
"Let me think," said Mr. Bloom.
"Maybe he tied the brush to a long stick," I suggested.
"I don't think so," said Mr. Bloom.
"I think that he had practiced painting like that for such a long time that he knew exactly what to do."-14-15쪽
