처음에 이 책을 선택했을때는 여러단락으로 나눠져 있는 추리소설인줄 알고 선택했어요.
나중에 자세히 들여다보니, 1-2페이지의 스토리를 가지고 추리를 하는 책이랍니다.
짧은 추리소설인데 읽는 사람이 탐정이 되어 문제를 풀어보는거예요.
추리의 결과는 뒷편에 나와서 자신의 답과 맞는지 확인할수 있구요.
깊이가 있는 추리소설은 아니고, 어떤면에서는 수수께기를 푸는것 같은 느낌이 들어요.
하지만 추리소설을 좋아하는 어린이에게 권하고 싶네요.

All of the mini-mysteries are less than two pages in length and will appeal to reluctant readers and those students who are page counters. Some of the stories will require research to identify the details that are at odds with the facts in order to solve the mystery. For example, readers will need to know when helium was discovered to understand the puzzle of "A Visit to the Zoo." The characters have humorous names such as Sergeant Rebekah Shurshot, Bunny Jammies, Officer Longarm, and night custodian, Don Sweepen. Reading these selections aloud will generate interest in the genre and provide a basis for discussion of clues, main character, etc. The answers to the whodunits are appended.-
