드디어 보들레어가의 세 남매들도 나이를 먹어가네요^^
클로스가 13살이 되는 날... 슬프게도 감옥 안에서 생일을 맞게 됩니다.
암튼..
이번편도 몹시 우울한 분위기를 끌고 가요.
쿼그마이어 남매를 쫒아 이상한 마을로 찾아들게 되지요.
과연 콰그마이어 남매가 말한 V.F.D.의 의미를 이 마을에서 알아 낼수 있을까요?
이번에는 포 아저씨는 동행도 안하네요.
그리고 평소 구조와 달리 마지막에도 포아저씨는 등장하지 않은채 우울한 앞날을 예감합니다.
뭐, 해피엔딩으로 한번도 끝난적이 없는것 같지만서도...^^
쿼그마이어 남매의 퍼즐에 맞춰, 문제를 풀어가면서 역시나 올라프 백작은 변장을 한채 보들레어가의 세남매를 괴롭힙니다.
그나마 쿼그마이어 남매는 구출되어, 안전하게(?) 올라프 백작의 손아귀에 벗어나지만, 보들레어의 세남매는 쿼그마이어 남매를 다시 만날수 있을지....^^
암튼...
책을 읽으면서 바이올렛, 클로서, 써니외에는 다들 온전한 사람이 등장하지는 않는것 같아요.
규율을 지키지 않으면 화형시키는 사람들과 옳건 그르건을 다수결(?)등의 원리로 판결한다던가...
항상 보들레어 남매의 편에 서는 사람들은 하나같이 뭔가 결함을 가지고 있는 경우도 있구요..
다음 이야기가 궁금하군요...

보들레어가의 부모님에 대한 언급은 지난편에 이어 살짝 드러나기 시작했습니다.
과연... 그 끝은 어떻게 될지..
