앵글로-색슨 족은 지금의 영국을 이루고 있는 민족으로 유명하다. 영국의 원주민을 몰아내고, 그 자리를 차지했던 앵글 족과, 색슨 족이 융화하여 이루어진 결과이다. 바로 이 색슨 족들의 이야기가 펼쳐진다.
The Saxons were sometimes cruel. They just acted like wild animals. Can you think about ways to give punishment to people? These were Saxon's way to kill with head : drowning, cutting off, throwing stones, burning, hanging. If you don't like this, they would cut off your body part : hand, foot, eye, head skin, nose, ear... or if you don't like this, than you can use hot iron, stocks, or whip.
Were they only cruel? Of course not. They had burial of the living with the dead. There was a grave of woman. and top of that, there was the second woman who was under a big rock. She couldn't move and the soil covered over her while she was alive. Saxons didn't have a bath or even shower, too. They had fleas, lices, worms inside or above them.
However, we can say that they became the maternal line of Anglo-Saxons or the people live in Europe. They were not a good scientists or scholar. they were quite good fighters.
