12월에 개봉한 트와일라잇을 영화관에서 본 이후로, 트와일라잇 시리즈에 빠지신 어머니께서 나에게 적극 추천해주신 책.(물론 어머니는 한글로 읽으셨다.) 하지만 원서를 먼저 읽어보라는 어머니의 무조건적인 설득으로 인해 이 책을 읽게 되었다. 조건은 이 책을 다 읽는다면 내가 좋아하는 초코 머핀을 먹을 수 있는 것. 그로 인해 나는 이 책을 빨리 읽기 위해 무척 노력했으나, 다 읽기까지는 일주일이라는 긴 시간이 걸렸다. 그렇지만 3분의 2가 지난 후반부터는 너무 재미있어서 금방 읽어내버렸다.
이 세상에는 수많은 미스터리가 존재한다. 인간의 게놈 지도는 99%가 완성되었으나 그 1%의 비밀이 무엇인지 모르며, 온갖 UFO의 사진들은 사실이 입증되지 않았다. 그리고 뱀파이어? 그건 잘 모르겠다. 보름달이 뜨면 살인 사건의 수가 더 많아진다는 늑대인간의 관한 자료도 있으나 흡혈귀에 관한 이야기는 한번도 들어보지 못했다. 물론 어떤 병에 걸리면 송곳니가 길어지고, 햇빛과 양파 냄새를 싫어하며 안색이 창백해진다는 그런 병도 있으며 실제로 어두운 성에 살고 있다고 한다. 그런 사람에 의해 흡혈귀 전설이 더욱 실제적에 가까워지기도 했는데, 실체는 아무도 모른다.
(mom 원서 표지가 눈에 더 선명하게 들어온다. 아무래도 영화 매력의 잔상인지.... 분명 번역본 일러스트는 아름답기는 한데... 한 가지 투덜거렸던 것은 번역본 글씨가 무지 큼직한데다 띄워스기줄은 한강처럼 보이고...낭비다 생각했다. 인쇄종이는 좋은 것을 써서 편히 읽는 방법인 침대에 누워서 보기에는 엄청난 무게였던 것. 원서와 비교하다 보니 같은 장에 나와 있는 것을 확인하고서야~ 이래서 그랬군 하고 혼자 납득하기....)
If there is vampire in the world? Well, I think they will quiet. If people know about them, people will catch them and they will kill vampires or make them obey human. And people will use them like weapons! What a terrible life!
People hate vampires, but someone love vampires. Even Bella wanted to be a vampire like Edward. Oh, sorry. I forgot that introduce the story. Bella is a beautiful girl. But her parents divorced, so Bella moved to Folks. She met the Cullen family, by Edward Cullen. Well, there is Edward Cullen, Emmett Cullen, Alice Cullen, Jasper Hale and Rosalie Hale. They are all vampires!
Bella and Edward are beautiful and handsome! They are all have white skin. Maybe It says Bella can be a vampire, to! I guess the end of the story will be Edward bite Bella and make her vampire, to! How great it is?
Jacob told to Bella a scary story. That is about Cold Ones. It means vampire, and Carlisle, the Cullens' father was the general of the cold one. So conclusion is that. Cold one have youth life, and they are strong. They don't sleep, they only eat blood. But Cullens' only eat animal's blood.
My mom became a disabled person for this series. It means this books are wonderful! My mom love books, and now she always reading the stories. I love this books, too. Sometimes I can discover the hard word in the English books, but if I read the Korean Books, It will have lots of fun.
My plan is read the next story, 'New moon' In English. And then I'm going to check it by Korean books! Isn't it a great idea? Yes, I can learn more English, too. However it is just difficult to me. My wish is read the next story, New moon, Eclipse and Breaking dawn. In this story, James was the problem. Maybe the next story, we can meet a new fantasy!
(이렇게.... 아이가 신나하며 2권을 끝내고 3권을 읽고자 했는데, 이런~ xdkxxx..... 서점들마다 품절이랜다. 미리 구매할껄~ 쥔장~~ ㅠㅠ 구입시기 늘 때를 딱딱 하나 못 맞추넹~ 아이 친구 고3 누나가 이 책 사서 가지고 있어 빌려달라고 했는데, 와서 보던가 대여는 또 안된다고 했다능데~~~ 아, 미리 3권을 사 두지 못했음을 땅을 쳤다)
