Such a heart wrenching story. I saw the movie first and was surprised how well the movie portrayed the book. It's almost 100% similar.

Through the life of Sarah and sarah's adopted family, the writer shows how painful and awful concentration camps were and what consequences it has on the people affected. ANd how much that experience traumatizes ones life. Sarah tries to live a normal life and meets a wonderful family, but she cannot forget how she killed her brother and her experience in the camp. She tries to forget by leaving to America and severing all ties with her adopted family. But that does not help as well.

It's horrifying how normal people just watched and let this craziness happen. As the translator writes : Primo Levi said there are monsters but few. It's the normal people that are dangerous. People who don't criticize and ask questions and just follows authority.

I would love to watch the documentary : Blind Spot : Hitler's Secretary

Great special affects! How technology has evolved. It reminded me of Happy feet

It's pretty powerful story of greed, honor, rivalry, trust, adventure.

Sad to have 2 brother owls fight against each other. but quite realistic.

I especially liked the music at the end.

Shows how our decisions define who we are not our blood.

ah the sweet old days...1960s...so innocent and uncorrupt.

SHows how the same situation can be interpretated differently depending whehter you are a girl or boy.

I cried when the girl had to come down that Sicamore tree and watched the girl grow up when she finally met her uncle.

I also liked it that the director didn't actually show the first kiss...some thngs are better left unknown

compelling story of the tragedy in nepal and how 2 men dared to save the lives of the ignored.

Having lived in nepal the reality of the writier's story felt more true. you see so many people living in poverty and the mindset of nepali people to send their children far away to absolute strangers is still happening even today.

It's amazing how 7 children found their way back to the orphanage and reunited with their parents.

Jumla is soo remote but during the confllict i can only imagine how isolated it must have been.

this book portrays that there is still hope and if you wish hard enough dreams do come true.

요즘 우리나라 대학교에 음주를 단속하는 내용이 들린다...그런 의미에서 춤출 권리를 제한하는 것은 인간의 기본권을 침해하는 것이다라고 이 영화에서 말한다.

주인공  ren 이 시의회에서 발언하듯이 미성년자에게 여러 권리를 제한할 수도 있지만 춤출 권리를 제한할수는 없다고...there is a time to weep, time to mourn and there is a time to dance.
