the story gets better and better....Katniss is thrown into another Hunger Games..she makes some alliances but in the end she is used by her friends as the sympol of rebellion against the Capitol... 

I can't wait to see what happens in the final sequal...if Peeta is still alive..what will happen to Katniss' family..and the rebellion

각 장마다 나온 사례가 도움이 많이 된다. 자기 상황에 맞는 장을 찾아서 보면 긍정적인 사고에 도움이 많이 될 것 같다. 

반면 자기랑 관계가 없는 장은 별로 도움이 안되는것 같다.

내용이 좀 실망스럽고 남자 주인공이 영 아니다 

hilarious & witty

자가의 에세이집이다. 기대를 안했는데 엄청 웃기고 특히 Big Boy, Picka Pocketoni 배꼽잡고 웃었다.  책은 2부로 나눠진다. 1부는 작가의 청년시절이고 2부는 작가가 프랑스로 이사하고 나서 이야기....그가 외국어를 배우는과정이 진짜 웃기다....그리고 오히려 파리에 살면서 더 미국영화를 보게된다는 것과 워크맨으로 미국책을 읽는 대목등이 왠지 공감이 갔다. 

6남매였던 그의 가족 얘기도 정말 잼있고 솔직하게 묘사되고 있다....자식들이 다 집을 떠나고 부모님은 퇴직하고 큰 개한마리를 얻으면서 그 개에게 쏟는 부모님의 애정...그리고 혼자 아버지가 남고 더 돈을 안쓰게 되는 내용...외국사람의 책이지만 한국이랑 별반 다를게 없다는 생각이들었다. 

scary & disturbing

I picked this book cuz the author of Twilight recommend it on her website. And I have to say it's incredible. The plot is really mind boggling....annual hunger game where 24 teenagers..2 from each district will have to fight till the last one stands.  

THe heroine Katniss volunteers when her little sister gets picked...the Peeta, the baker's son is the boy that gets picked.  

I don't know if you can say this is a happy ending since so many people die..for nothing.. 

it was heard wrenching when Rue died...but the author seems to tell us that love is the most important thing..and i'm glad Katniss was partnered with Peeta...this is definitely not the last book...so many stories to tell...I really look forward to the sequal which will come out this Sept.
