this is the 3rd book i've read from chetan bhagat. Of the three books this is definitely the most political. It focuses on the friendship of to guys...govind, Ish and Omi. but also shows the tension between Muslim and HIndu in Gujarat(India). In the end Omi dies from the conflict and Govind and Ish's friendship is broken because of Govind's deceit and lie of having a relationship with Ish's sister.
The three mistakes Govind makes is:
1. investing all his money on a shop which is destroyed during an earthquake
2. getting involved with Ish's sister
3. not being agle to save Ali's wrists during the conflict
