절판
this is the first book in Nepal to have sold more than 50,000 copies. The author is a famous journalist/editor from Katipur. this is a second hand account of a life of a Nepali artist during the Maoist insurgency right after the royal family massacre of 2001. It depicts the situation in the villages and how normal helpless people survived those times. Based on the book it seems the artist Drishya Lamjung District, near Dhanchuli Himal. I've never been to these parts but i can relate to the hill villages quite vividly. It's really rate to see artists in Kathmandu especailly so reading a book whose protaganist is one is quite intriguing. sad and touching novel of the torid confused times. i do wish there actually was a cafe in the hills named Palpasa Cafe.
