similar to Devil wears Prada...you get really curious about the author...whether she lived the life she's writing about
Bette is a funny combination of hippy bred to cosmopolitan banker/PR
You get to read about the night life of socialites in NY, the awful work hours, crazy New yorkers
I would have liked to read more about Michael, Bette's friend
and hope there's a sequal coming out soon
