I love the cynical no nonsense reporting of Anderson Cooper. I try to download his podcast...I've always thought he was the sexiest anchor on CNN. This book really entwines cooper's personal and professional life. I always thought there was something different about people going into war zones to tell the world what ordinary people wouldn't dare to do. Katerina really shows that no nation is free from natural disaster even like a country as rich and powerful as the US or Japan (as we can see from the recent tsunami) The more disasters are shown and reported the more it gets clearer that we are not capable of dealing with crisis and we're fooling ourselves in thinking we can.
