어느 해 아주 지친 날, 나는 이 영화를 보고 울었다.
프랑스 배우 마티유 아말릭이 감독과 주연을 맡은 영화. 모두 훌륭한 연기를 보여줘서 한 사람 한 사람 다 언급해주고 싶다.

무대 위에선 찬사를 받지만 현실에서는 경멸받는 삶을 사는 그들.
파리 무대로는 가지 못하고 변두리만 떠도는 삶처럼, 제대로 살고 싶지만 그렇게 안되는 삶.
한 개비 담배 연기처럼 피어오르며 떠돌다 사라질 인생.
이 영화를 본 사람은 극 중 Suzanne Ramsey가 Dream On을 부를 때 모두 가슴 뭉클했을 것이다.
집에 돌아오자 마자 Aerosmith / Dream On을 부리나케 찾아 들어봤다.
가사가 그토록 사무칠 줄이야! 평소 노땅 취급하던 Aerosmith였는데;

이 영화를 꼭 찾아서 보길~
이제 슬슬 집을 나서야겠다.
왜 난 집에서 편히 자질 못하고 늘 바깥으로 서성이며 돌아다닐까.
"내 인생의 반은 이미 책 속에 쓰여 있죠."라고 노래하는 Aerosmith처럼
음악이 언제나 내 마지막 말보다 어울린다고 생각하며...
