남편이 미국 자이언 국립공원에 있을 때 신세도 지고 우리도 가서 하룻밤 묵었던 교포 써니와 가끔 메일을 주고받는다. 어제야 원주 이사 소식을 전했는데 답장이 왔다. 남편이 있었으면 확실하게 번역해주었을 텐데... 어려운 단어가 없으니 그래도 대충 내용은 알아먹겠다. 난 우리말로 메일을 보내는데 한글 폰트가 없는 그곳에서 보내는 답장은 항상 영어.
I am glad that you are settling in the new town. I know it is not easy to move town to distant town so many times but we all hope for the best for the children.
The education in Korea is so compatible and I feel very sorry for the younger generation who always have to study and study. I hope Sun Woo and Ji Woo find their way of happy life for their future.
They are very bright and cute and I will send them my prayer as often as I remember. Please send me your family picture once in a while so I can see the children growing.
We both still talk about Mr. Kang when we go to Anne and Allen Brown's home and I have been telling them that you sent me the delicious seaweed.
I have been making susi for them and other friends in this town and I really enjoy to share your gift of seaweed with many friends. Thank you again.
You and Mr. Kang are wonderful couple we met here and I hope our relationship will continue for the rest of our lives.
My door is open all the time and you and your family are always welcome back here to have a family vacation together.
