This book is about wisdom.

When we think we are in trouble or despair, this book may be able to help us to overcome the situation.

There is a wise old man named 'Jones'.

He suggest that sometimes all a person needs is a little perspective.

A grateful perspective brings happiness and abundance into a person's life.

When we are happy and enthusiastic, others enjoy being around us.

One's opportunities and encouragement come from people.

There seem to be four dialects that se use to convey and feel loved.

cat -love of physical contact

canary- love expressed in quality time.

puppy dog - love of spoken words of approval

 and goldfish - love based puerly on favors and deeds

No matter your age, physical condition, finational situation, color, gender, emotional state, or belief... everything you do , every move you make, matters to all of us- and forever.

It is simply that they did not make a mistake. the made a choice... and never understand the difference between the two.

I have some questions after whole reading this book.

If I don't meet Jonse in my life, how I can get a perspective?

And can someone really  have a perspective after relatively short time conversation with wise man?

The other question is if Jones is real human being.

Jones seems to be somewhat divine.

Jones's words contain not only truth, but also love, so many people open their hearts to him very spontaneouly.

God gave us everything including truth.

God told us that the truth would set us free.

I think that the freedom is from despair, loneliness, hatred, greed, depression, and ignorrance , etc.

Just if you want, God will meet you like Jones.

Then you can get a perspective.

I think that a perspective is a view of God.

We can live like a person who we alwayse want to be during short time with our own efforts. But we cannot be changed to such a person during whole our lives.

To do that, we need help, love, and care from God.

I like this book because we can be taught about God with the example of Jones.

What is there , in the heart of darkness?

'I' told that he had been fascinated by a long and winding river resembling a snake.

So 'I' went there and became a seaman on a steam boat.

'I' had to bring someone who is notorious and also famous.

His name is Kurtz.

I found this book in the library. There were a lot of famous novels on the shelf and I picked this book because the title was very impressive.

After reading the whole book, I searched about this book and the writer.

I came to know this novel was very famous and became the base of the movie 'Apoclapyse'.

No wonder, I felf concentrated  when I was reading this novel.

I like the writer's cool and neutral attitude.

I think there was life in the heart of darkness.

I was nervous when I read this book.

This book made me unpleasnt.

Too many people died.

It was scary.

I think that the writer is wicked.

I agree that  she has talent for story.

But I couldnt' be touched.

Because I wondered who is the murder, I could finish this book  relatively soon.

I concluded that crime novel is not good for me.

 나는 아직도 이탈리아를 잘 모르겠다.

 정말 모르겠다.

 이들을 하나로 묶어주는 것은 언어인가?

 민족인가?

 이탈리아 반도라는 지역적 구분인가?

이 책을 읽어보아도 지역마다 특성이 매우 다른 것 같다.

공통점이라면 어디를 가도 역사가 정말 오래 되었다는 것..

세월의 흔적을 그대로 느낄 수 있다는 것..

작가의  성실한 답사여행기를 읽으며 나도 덩달아 이탈리아의 유명한 곳과 그 뒷골목까지도

꼼꼼하게 예습을 하고 있는 것 같다.

이탈리아를 언젠가 가게 될지 아닐지 알 수는 없지만

종가집 장손 같은 견고함을 가진 이탈리아가

내 마음속에 자리잡은 것은 분명하다.

빛을 쪼이고 마음 맞는 사람과 시간을 보내는 것

며칠전 갑자기 '세로토닌' 이라는 단어가 머리속에 불현듯 떠올랐다.

그래서 언젠가 들은 적이 있는 이 책을 찾아 읽게 되었다.

누군가는 책의 내용이 너무 식상하다고 한다.

하지만 빛이 없는 어둠 속에서 살았던 나는 이 책의 한구절 한구절이 모두 가슴에 와닿는다.

나의 상태를 이보다 더 잘 설명해 줄 수 있는 이론이 어디에 또 있을까?

나에게 다행인 것은 물리적인 빛 뿐 아니라 영혼의 빛도 함께 찾았다는 것이다.

어렵게 찾은 빛을 많이 누리며 살고 싶다.

나는 해가 잘 드는 공간에서 일하고 싶다.

그리고  이 책을 통해 새로운 단어 한가지를 알게 되었다.

그것은 '군집본능'이라는 것인데 마음맞는 사람끼리 함께 보낼때 세로토닌이 펑펑 쏟아진다고 한다.
