오늘날 그리스도인의 구별 기준은 너무나 단순합니다. 교회에 출석하면 그리스도인입니다. 주일에 빠지지 않고 교회에 출석하면 성실한 그리스도인입니다. 교회에서 맡은 일이많고 하는 일이 많으면 능력 있는 그리스도인입니다.  - P51

반대로교회에 출석하지 않으면 일단 그리스도인으로 분류하지도 않습니다. 교회에 다니지 않을 뿐 아니라 이따금 교회를 비판하거나 쓴소리를 한다면, 그는 반그리스도인으로 분류되기 십상입니다. - P52

We know we have been saved from God‘s wraththrough Jesus‘ blood. As people reconciled to God through Jesus‘ death, howmuch more should we boast in the life we have through Jesus‘ life! - P147

Why does this matter? Ever since sin has entered the world, we were bynature in rebellion against God. Sin was our natural bent and we didnot acknowledge God‘s authority because that would mean acknowl-edging we deserved judgment. But through Christ‘s death, our verynature is transformed and our life takes a new direction.  - P148

We were onceidentified as His enemies, but now He welcomes us as His children.
Where we were once bent on rebelling against God, we now desire toobey Him. - P148

Our past does not limit our future. Dwelling on missed opportunitiesand mistakes leads to regrets, but when we allow God to redefine ourunderstanding of success, we can know and even expect that God canuse us for His kingdom purposes. - P133
