[NIV] 18 Paul stayed on in Corinth for some time. Thenhe left the brothers and sisters and sailed for Syria, ac-companied by Priscilla and Aquila. Before he sailed, hehad his hair cut off at Cenchreae because of a vow hehad taken. - P42

23 After spending some time in Antioch, Paul set outfrom there and traveled from place to place throughoutthe region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all thedisciples. - P42
24 Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alex-andria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with athorough knowledge of the Scriptures.
25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, andhe spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accu-rately, though he knew only the baptism of John. - P43
26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. WhenPriscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to theirhome and explained to him the way of God more ad-equately. - P43
28 For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents inpublic debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesuswas the Messiah. - P43
Paul spends a short time in Ephesus with Priscilla and Aquila. He then resumeshis travels and strengthens disciples in different regions. - P43
At the same time, Priscilla and Aquila meet Apollos, who only knows about John‘s baptism. They explain the way of God more adequately. Then, Apollos goes to Achaiato share about it. He is of great help to the believers there. - P46
