문장이 참으로 쉽습니다. 

아이들이 영어로 옹알이 할 수 있는  

문장입니다.

내가 주인공이 되어 책을 읽고  

엄마와 함께 Bubbling 놀이도 해 볼 수 있습니다. 

간단한 문장 구성이 유아들이 따라 하기에 좋습니다.   

처음에는 

LC를 통해 충분히 들을 수 있도록 

유도해 주세요. 

모국어 방식으로  영어를 접할 수 있기 위해서는 

충분한 듣기 노출이 중요합니다.

듣고 그 소리를 그림과 match 시켜 봄으로서 

 영어로 생각하고 

영어로 느낄 수 있는  

연상력을 키울 수 있습니다. 

또한 똑같은 상황을 연출해서  

그 상황에 맞는 영어회화를 해 볼 수 있도록 

유도해 주는 것도  

좋습니다. 

bubbles 를 마당에서 부엌에서 욕조에서 만들어 보고 ... 

bubbles 를 터트려 popping sound 도 만들고...   

혼자 bubbling 놀이에 빠진 

우리의 주인공!   

하지만 어린 아이일지라도  

Sorry, Mom. Am  I in trouble?  

이라는 문장을 통해 bubbling 놀이 이후에  

엄마에게 미안해 하는 모습을 볼 수 있습니다. 

참으로 사랑스런 아이죠.

bubbling 한 후 엄마의 도움이 필요하기에  

엄마에게는 trouble 로서 느껴집니다. 

그래서 제목이 Bubble trouble 이라고 붙여 졌음을 알 수 있죠. 

책을 다 읽은 후  

What happens Next ? 라고 물어 봐 줌으로서  

자기가 놀이를 한 후 스스로 정리하고 치울 수 있도록 유도해 주는 것도 

아이들의 인성발달과 예절교육에 좋을 것이라 생각됩니다. 

이처럼 유아때는 엄마와 함께 하는 시간이 많기에  

함께 놀이도 해보고 영어로 엄마와 간단한 회화도 주고 받으며  

익힐 수 있는 좋은 책이기에 영어교육에 관심 있으신 어머님이라면

권해 드립니다.

Dink 와 Josh 와 Ruth Rose...... 

귀여운 아이들이 풀어가는 미스테리 이야기.

Dink 에게 " D. Duncan." 이라는 이름으로  

계속 보내지는 편지들, 

그 편지들은 하나같이 " Dear Doris" 로 시작한다. 

Josh 와 Ruth Rose 는 Dink 에게 누군가가  

장난을 치고 있다고 말하지만 

Dink는 그 것 이상의 무언가가 있다고 확신한다. 

Doris Duncan 이라는 부인이 나타나  

그녀의 편지를 달라고 

요구하고서 부터는  더욱 더...  

그러한 생각을 하게 되는데...   

과연 어떠한 secret 이 숨어 있는 것일까요? 

단지 장난이 아닌 어떤 음모가  

숨겨져 있는 것일까요?  

the hot-air balloon

Gregory did not have much money. 

He had a son, Nicky. Gregory was worried about Nicky. 

Nicky longed to have the things that other boys on their block had.

So Gregory thought of  a  plan. He wanted them to leave the city. He gathered

all the sheets, blankets, and  curtains he could find. He used them to make a

hot-air balloon. When the balloon was  finished, Gregory and Nicky filled it with

hot air, and it rose high into the sky. 

The neighbors looked on. They were shocked. 

The man and his son floated away from the city, looking for a new place to

live. 

Question 1. What caused Gregory to think of a plan about leaving the city ?

Star student

Alice was new in class. She lived in a different neighborhood and didn't know

any children in the room. "Don't talk to her," one girl said to another. 

"She's not from around here." So the others ignored Alice. Alice felt lonely. 

One day in art class, Alice used wool and string to make a doll. 

She put the doll beside her on her chair. She knew it was silly, but it made her

feel better. The next day the principal came into the room. She spotted Alice. 

"Who's that?" the principal asked kindly. " Your star student," answered Alice. 

"I believe it, " responded the principal, smiling. 

The children saw how pleased the principal seemed. One girl smiled shyly at

Alice, suddenly wishing she could be her friend.
