하지만 내가 방금 묘사한 내용이 교회 안팎에서 수많은 사람들이 ‘죄‘라는 용어를 인식하는 방식이다. 전에 ‘내부자‘였던 사람들이이제는 ‘외부자‘가 된 이유 중에는 그렇게 인식된 가르침에 대한 반발도 있다. 뉘우치지 않는 범죄자가 ‘죄‘에 대해 염려하던 시절이 있었다. 오늘날에는 범죄자가 더 이상 염려하지 않는다. 죄가 남의 문제라고 생각하는 이들만이 ‘죄‘에 대해 쉴 새 없이 떠들어댄다.  - P134

We must expect, whether in our communities or before a court oflaw, to be accused of being "with Jesus? Jesus was not afraid or ashamedto be associated with sinners so He could save us. Let us not be afraid orashamed of being associated with Him. - P92

Zealous fervor, no matterhow sincere, is not enough to keep us loyal to Christ. The good newsis, Jesus is aware of our weaknesses. 
And as He protected Peter‘s faith,
He willprotect ours so that we can come back to Him no matter howbadly we fail. - P92

Dear God, I realize that I cannot rely on my own zeal for You. I must trust in Youalone, who know my weaknesses and my sins-past, present, future-yet loveme still. Thank you for protecting my faith during my trials. In Jesus‘ name, amen. - P92

초기인류는 창조주의 부르심과 명령을 거부했고, 이스라엘은 훨씬 더 증폭된 언약의 하나님의 부르심과 명령을 거부했다. 포로기라는 끔찍한비극이 찾아오자 위대한 예언자들은 의미를 찾으려 애썼다. 이교도무리가 이스라엘을 이기고, 거룩한 곳을 짓밟고, 선택된 백성을 바벨론(인간의 교만이 극에 달했던 창세기 II 장의 그 ‘바벨‘)으로 끌고 갔다.

His power transcended the Romansystem and He saved us through Jesus‘ death. Knowing this, we canconfidently obey Scripture‘s command to "be subject to the govern-ing authorities" (Rom. 13:1). God has complete sovereignty over allworldly powers and can turn even their imperfections and failures toHis people‘s advantage. - P89

The disciples are no longer there for support,
but Jesus knows that His ultimate strength comes from the Father, andHe is ready with unwavering determination to face whatever challengeslie ahead. In times of crisis, we can follow Jesus‘ example and find thestrength to stand resolute and committed to God‘s will. - P84

God remains in control. The promises in His Word provide a steadfastanchor, assuring us that we are not alone in our struggles. - P85

Prayer is also a vital source of strength in adversity. Jesus, our ultimaterole model, exemplified its importance. He drew upon His commu-nion with the Father through prayer, finding solace and strength inthis divine connection. By following His example, we, too, can tapinto this well of resilience and find the courage to persevere. Moreover,
