We must expect, whether in our communities or before a court oflaw, to be accused of being "with Jesus? Jesus was not afraid or ashamedto be associated with sinners so He could save us. Let us not be afraid orashamed of being associated with Him. - P92
Zealous fervor, no matterhow sincere, is not enough to keep us loyal to Christ. The good newsis, Jesus is aware of our weaknesses. And as He protected Peter‘s faith, He willprotect ours so that we can come back to Him no matter howbadly we fail. - P92
Dear God, I realize that I cannot rely on my own zeal for You. I must trust in Youalone, who know my weaknesses and my sins-past, present, future-yet loveme still. Thank you for protecting my faith during my trials. In Jesus‘ name, amen. - P92
