Our fight against sin is sometimes similar to our fight against flies. There isn‘t a set number of times you must deny a particular sin in order to ensure the temptation will disappear once and for all. - P123

Saul, on the otherhand, when faced with a hopeless situation, responds to his fears bygoing against God‘s commands and even undoing his previous efforts toremove all mediums and spiritists. - P136

Saul is more desperate toeliminate his fears than to seek God‘s guidance. - P136
