From a group of seventy of the house of Jacob who journeyed into Egypt, Israel has now become a vast, strong people. God’s faithfulness to His promises shines through even when it seems impossible to grasp how His plans will unfold. - P96

Often we only see the beginnings, the seed form of His promises, making it challenging to fully trust in the outcome. Yet, God’s faithfulness is unfailing, and when we look back, we can marvel at the beauty and completeness of His fulfilled promises. - P96

 Yet, the reality is that Heloves us more than we could possibly comprehend, and He knows us moredeeply than we could ever know ourselves, for He is the One who createdeach unique person with their individual personalities, gifts, and abilities. - P97

We see in the book of Numbers how God cares about His people. He tellsMoses to "take a census of the whole Israelite community by their clans andfamilies, listing every man by name, one by one" (Num. 1:2). One reasonfor this census is to record a list of possible soldiers, but the inclusion ofeach name also reflects God‘s attention for every person in the Israelitecommunity.  - P97

Every family matters to God because they belong to His com-munity. They are His family. Believers today can rest assured that God seeseach one of us. He cares for every one of His children. He knows us one byone and loves us in the way that we need Him most. - P97

Father, thank you for Your unfailing promises. Strengthen my heart to trust in You when I cannot see the full picture. - P97

화려하게 팡팡 터지기보다는 다소 절제된 진한 풍미가 있는 산미가 좋네요. 찐덕한 카라멜이 단맛을 잘 잡아주면서 조금은 풍성한 바디감이 있어 아직은 추운, 마지막이 될 수 있는 이번주의 꽃샘추위에 딱 좋네요. 결국에는 에디오피아 커피로 돌아온다는 말이 맞는 것 같습니다.

The census has practicalpurposes such as preparing for future military responsibilities. This is a turn-ing point for Israel, marking them not only as an established communitybut also as a nation prepared for both worship and warfare.  - P90

Believers todayare called to be a community of worship that is also engaged in spiritualwarfare, prepared to fight against the works of the enemy. However, we arenot expected to work alone. Just as God provided Moses and Aaron with team, He also encourages us to work together to accomplish His purposes. - P90

Jesus Christ lived the life we could not live. He heard and responded to theneeds of His people. He listened and obeyed the word of His Father. He thendied the death we deserved in our place. Through faith in Christ‘s perfect life,
sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection for us, we are given ears to hearand understand. We can once again image and glorify the God who hears. Wecan once again listen to, love, and obey God. We can once again listen to andlove our neighbor. - P188

As redeemed saints, we are new creations. The Spirit lives within us, changingand transforming us, enabling us to love our neighbors as ourselves. This meanswe can do what Paul commanded: "Do nothing from selfish ambition or con-ceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves" ((Phil. 23,

Listening to one another is one of the ways we love and encourage our neighbor. - P188
