30-31 예수께서는 이 책에 기록된 것보다 훨씬 많은 표적을 베푸셔서하나님을 계시해 주셨다. 이것을 기록한 이유는, 예수께서 메시아이시며 하나님의 아들이심을 여러분으로 믿게 하고, 그 믿음을 통해 예수께서 친히 계시해 주신 참되고 영원한 생명을 얻게 하려는 것이다. - P365

Jesus tells the disciples to wait untilthey are baptized by the Holy Spirit. Once Jesus is taken up, an angel tells thedisciples that just as He went up, He will come back. - P99

Luke makes a summary statement of how his first letter ended. The dis-ciples are told to wait for the promised Holy Spirit who would empowerthem for their mission to be witnesses of Jesus to their known worlds.
