Glorious worship and shouts of joy permeate this call to gather before the Lord. God’s people are first called to come to Him with joyful songs. God delights in the praises of His people. What a wonderful privilege to be invited into His holy presence! The people are then called to know. Specifically, they are to know that the Lord is God. He is the Creator, and His people belong to Him. We as God’s people today enjoy the blessings of His pasture. We live freely and securely, knowing that the Shepherd is with us to protect and guide. As we respond to the call to come worship and know God, we discover the joy of belonging to our wondrous Creator. - P96
