31"Do you now believe?" Jesus replied.

32"A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. - P143

33"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - P143

 He encourages them to take heart in the face of upcomingtrials, assuring them of His victory. - P143

Jesus explains that He came from the Father and is about to return to Him, and the disciples will also have fellowship with the Father, being able to ask Him directly in Jesus’ name. - P144

We have the security of knowing that the Father loves and hears us just as He loves and hears His Son. - P144

we face different kinds of troubles. However, we can have peace and take heart in remembering the victory of Christ - P144

This earthly ministry. Their relationship with the Father, Son, and HolySpirit becomes their solid foundation for joy and peace amid the troublesof this world. - P145

Our peace is anchored inour union with Jesus Christ, who has triumphed over sin and death. Thegreatest challenge humanity faces is the suffering caused by sin and death,
which robs us of joy and peace. However, when we build our foundationon Jesus, who has already attained perfect joy and peace, we resemble thewise man who builds his house on the rock.  - P145

No matter what troubles weencounter, we will not fall because our foundation is solid in Christ. - P145

Dear God, thank you that You love me and hear all my prayers. In times of struggle, remind me of the victory of Christ, so that I may persevere as I experience Your unwavering peace. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. - P145
