26Jesus answered, "It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish." Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

27As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, "What you are about to do, do quickly." - P101

Judas Iscariot was physically close to Jesus, but his heart was not committed to Him. This serves as a warning not to confuse good conduct with a transformed heart. - P102

Judas has the outward appearance of a close friend, but he harbors betrayal in his heart. - P102

Judas goes out into the night that reflects the darkness of his soul. He rejects Jesus and becomes an instrument of Satan. - P102

how can we battle against spiritual forces of evil that we cannot see? Theanswer is in God‘s Word: put on the full armor of God.
