TheJews condemned Jesus when they asked Pilate to execute Him. But God raisedHim from the dead and now, many are His witnesses. - P115
As Paul‘s journey continues, he is given an opportunity to preach in asynagogue. Before he gets to what Jesus has done, he seeks commonground with his audience by focusing on what God has done through-out Jewish history. - P118
His message emphasizes and encourages his listenersto reflect on God‘s sovereignty and faithfulness through the centuries. - P118
As we read these words, we can be encouraged because we know thatthe same God who was ever faithful to the Israelites will be ever faithfulto us. - P118
For this reason, we should view our entire lives through the lens ofGod‘s provision. - P118
