As a result, many peoplebelieve in Jesus. Then there is Simon, the tanner, who hosts Peter forthe entire time he is in Joppa. - P78
God has given each of us different giftsto serve others for His glory. - P78
Whether your gift is charity, prayer, orhospitality, let us faithfully use our gifts to build God‘s kingdom. - P78

[NIV] 1 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius,
a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment.
2 He and all his family were devout and
God-fearing;
he gave generously to those in need and prayed to Godregularly. - P80

13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eatenanything impure or unclean." - P81
Cornelius, a God-fearing centurion, has a vision where he is told to send forsomeone called Peter. Cornelius obeys. - P81
The following day, Peter is praying andfalls into a trance where he is told to eat from a sheet that contains all sort ofanimals. - P81
Peter says he has never eaten anything impure. The voice says to notcall impure what God has made clean. - P81
