In our Christian walk, there may have been times when God felt like a distant deity and His promises seemed like nothing more than fine-sounding words. - P144
But as we encounter God personally in prayer, in His Word, and in community, we come to learn that He is our God, and He has a perfect plan for each of our lives. - P144
