The apostlePaul speaks of "learning" to be content in every circumstance of life(Phil. 4:11). That process of learning is forged in the fires of life‘s trials.
Rather than something to reject and avoid at all cost, it is an oppor-tunity we should embrace. - P125
So take some advice from someone who has experienced plenty of faltering
and failing on his journey with Jesus: our failures are God‘s stepping stones
to maturity, as the words of Proverbs 24:16a put it:
"For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again."

Lord, I am humbled in those moments when I fail to trust You. But even in myfailures, I know You are teaching me. Help me learn my lessons well, and usethem to shape me into the image of Your Son. In His name, amen. - P125
