When we come to Christ we are given His Spirit, who frees us from the bondage of the law and the guilt of sin. - P74
But his transformation was, in truth, painfully slow. It took years of prayer, faith, instruction, rebuke, and love. Lookingback, I am grateful that I and many others did not give up on him. The Holy Spirit was at work in the background transforming him intothe man God wanted him to be. - P75
