 하나님께 쓰임 받는 것이 나의 선함 때문이 아님을 잊지 않을 때,참다운 자기부인을 할 수 있습니다. 진정한 죽음은 노력이 아닌 "우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례를 받음으로"(롬 6:4) 이뤄집니다. 진정으로 하나님을 만난 사람은 자신의 생각, 감정, 뜻을 따라 살지 않으며 계획 또한 오로지 주인에게 달려있음을 믿게 됩니다. - P27
