Today‘s world is not so differentfrom the Arameans in that it wants to limit God‘s influence to certainspheres of life. But God is Lord over everything and no one can thwartHis plans. When we entrust our whole lives to Him, He can give usvictory beyond our limitations. - P130
Ahab does not consult Him as to whether he should make a treatyat all. If God is the Lord over our lives, then His counsel must prevailover our emotions and our best intentions. Let us not hold on when Hetells us to let go, or make peace with what He has declared war upon. - P130
