It is only throughElijah‘s faith and courage that the prophets of Baal are defeated. Thisleads Israel to understand the grave error of their ways and to turnaway from their idolatry and back to the Lord. - P99
When we are612 in a spiritual drought, we may feel distant from God, lack a sense ofpurpose, or feel stunted in our spiritual growth. I know that whenI was in a season of spiritual drought, the main contributing factorwas a lack of spiritual disciplines such as praying, reading the Bible,
going to church, and having fellowship with other believers. This ledto feelings of isolation and complacency. - P99
