Once a person hears the gospel and joins the church, we cannot justleave them alone and expectthem to work out their faith on their own. - P44
We must continue to teach them God‘s Word, encourage them in theirstruggles, and pray for them. - P44
Although Apollos possessed extensive knowledge of the Scriptures, there were still gaps in his understanding of the gospel. - P44
Fortunately, two believers recognize this and decide to disciple him. Priscilla andAquila invite Apollos into their home and take the time to teach him, enriching his understanding of Jesus and what He accomplished. - P44
Thisintentional act of discipleship then has a ripple effect on the growth ofthe Early Church. Though it is rarely an easy or quick process, let usinvest our time and energy in discipling other believers to help themgrow in their walk with the Lord. - P44
We should not underestimate thosewho are young in the faith because we never know how God might usethem to build His kingdom. - P44
Heavenly Father, help me to work hard to strengthen Your people and help themgrow in their knowledge of You. - P44
