Jude encourages believers to defend their faith against ungodly people whoare immoral, perverse, and deny Jesus. - P25
He reminds them that whoever rejectsthe Lord will eventually be destroyed and punished. - P25
However, he also remindsthem that it is not up to believers to condemn such people because one day, the Lord will come to judge and convict all of them. - P25
Although Jude is a very short letter, it is densely packed with weightydoctrine and urgent warnings. - P28
Jude writes to a church that is beinginfiltrated by wicked false teachers whose perverse behaviorgoes handin hand with their corrupt beliefs. - P28
By denying the Lord Jesus and slan-dering spiritual authorities, these individuals incur the kind of wraththat fell upon the sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. - P28
Though it mayseem like Jude uses lofty hyperbole to get his point across, he meanseverything he says. There is a terrible judgment awaiting the wickedwho abuse the grace of God. - P28
It is absolutely imperative, therefore, thatwe keep our churches pure from false teaching and unrepentant sin. - P28
