Walking along the street a man attracted by frightened screams from a house.
Rushing in, he found a mother frantic because her little son had swallowed a quarter.
Seizing the child by the heels, he held him up and gave him a few shakes, and the coin dropped to the floor.
The grateful mother was loud in admiration.
"You certainly knew how to get it out of him,"she said.
"Are you a doctor?"
"No, madam,"the man replied, "I'm from the Internal Revenue Service."

길을 지나가던 어떤 사람이 비명소리를 듣고 그 소리가 나는 집으로 달려 들어갔다.
그 집 어린 아들이 25센트짜리 은화를 삼키는 바람에 어머니가 혼비백산한 것이다.
그런데 그남자가 아이 발목을 잡고 들어올려서 몇 번 흔들자 동전이 튀어나와 바닥에 떨어졌다.
"정말 용하시네요, 그걸 빼내시다니, 선생님은 의사신가요?"
"아닙니다. 전 국세청 직원입니다."
