An American tourist in Israel entered the beautiful Mann Auditorium for a concert.
He was admiring the unique architecture and modern design throughout the building.
Finally he turned to his guide and asked if the building was named for Thomas Mann, the world-famous writer.
"No," his guide replied, "it's named for Fredric Mann, from Philadelphia."
"Really? I never heard of him. What did he write?"
"A check."

가이드가 "아닙니다. 이 건물은 필라델피아에 사는 프레드릭 만 이란 사람의 이름을 땄습니다" 라고 했다.
"그래요? 처음 들어보는 이름인데... 도대체 그 분은 무엇을 쓴 분이지요?"
"그 분은 수표를 한 장 썼지요."
