As believers hold to the promise of entering God‘s rest, they are to be carefulnot to fall short of it. They are not to be like those who rebelled and neverentered it.  - P47

God‘s rest is still open for us to enter in and even today, God calls forpeople to hear His voice and not harden their hearts. Believers are encouragedto enter God‘s rest as they rest from their works. - P47

At first, it might be confusing to see Jesus being called the "firstborn."
This seems to imply that Jesus is a created being like the angels. But theword "firstborn" is often used in Scripture as a title given by God thatdenotes a position of preeminence.  - P26

For example, the nation of Israel iscalled God‘s firstborn (Exod. 4:22). The title of firstborn is used in thispassage of Hebrews to emphasize that Jesus is higher than the angels.
