제레미 레너가 주연한 드라마로 민영교도소가 주수입원인 가상의 도시에서 중재자 역할을 맡아 동분서주한다는 내용이다. 그렇게 발에 불이 나도록 돌아다니고 중재를 해도 결국 일어날 일은 일어나고 만다. 열심히 뛰어다니는 지친 중년의 모습에 이입이 되다가도 필요 이상으로 나신을 등장시켜 오히려 좋은 내용을 반감시킨다.
다만 10화의 마지막에서 성매매와 폭력적인 성관계로 망가진 아이리스가 마이크에게 '어쩌면 영혼이 다시 자랄 수 있다면'라고 하는 장면이 너무 마음이 아렸다.
