     This story takes place in a haunted house. Xander is an important character in this story. He is one of the main characters. He is the oldest of three kids. He is very unpreductable. He is ery mad at Taksidian. He likes his sister’s food. 

(3) Briefly summarize the main events of the story.
     In the beginning, a stranger called Taksidian wants to get the house. Then, the father of David, Toria, and Xander gets arrested because he wouldn't sell his house. But then, the two elder boys, Xander and David break into jail and save their father. Then, Xander and David go through one of he portals in their house and they get stuck in the middle of a war. In the end, Xander finds a clue to finding their mom.

(4) On a scale of one to five, how would I compare this book to others I have read?
     It’s 4. I would recommend this book because it is full of unusual twists and turns.

     This story takes place in a haunted house. David is an important character in this story. He is Xander’s younger brother. He is second oldst in three kids. He is 12. He broke his arm. 

(3) Briefly summarize the main events of the story.
     In the beginning, the King family moves into the new Victorian house. Then, they find out that it has lots of roms. After that, David King finds a secret teleportation portal to his new school. Later, David and Xader find a new world within their new house. Then, Toria hears a weird sound in the middle of the night. In the end, a burly guy comes in the middle of the night and kidnappes their mom.

(4) On a scale of one to five, how would I compare this book to others I have read?
     It's 4. I would recommend this book because it is a very exciting book, like when Xander beats up Phemus.

     This story takes place in a middle school. Manny is a very important character. He is Greg’s 3 years elder brother. Greg really hates him, but Rodrick doesn’t care. Other people think that he is just adorable. However, Greg Heffley knows the truth.

(3) Briefly summarize the main events of the story.
     In the beginning of the story, dad makes Greg go on the swim team. But Greg tried to persuade him to make him go on the water jazz, instead. Then when he got home, he played video games and then the thing did not start. He opened the disk driver and pulled out a chocolate chip cookie. In the middle of the story, Rodrick had a party while mom and dad are going. After the party was over, Greg helped Rodrick clean. In the end of the story, Rodrick makes a video of his ban and now everyone knows.

(4) On a scale of one to five, how would I compare this book to others I have read?
     It’s ’4.’ I would recommend this book for people who want a better future.

     Michelle Paver, 289 pages, Science fiction

(2) When and where the story takes place. Also choose one important character from this book. 
     This story takes place in a deep forest. Thiazzi is a very important character in this story. He is the oak magel soul eater. He has the fire opal. He killed Torak’s best friend, Bale. He can turn into a tree and is not harmed by fire when he has the fire opal.

(3) Briefly summarize the main events of the story.
     In the beginning, Torak finds out that Thiazzi killed Bale, his best friend. Then he swears an oath to Bale’s spirit, saying that he will avenge him and kill Thiazzi. So then, Torak, Renn and Finkedinn track Thiazzi into the deep forest but get captured by the Awroch clan. Then, the leader of the Auroch clan ties Torak to a tree and light the tree on fire and turns Renn over to the soul eater. Then, Torak escapes and goes to confront the soul eater. He is about to die but and eagle owl/Eostra grabs the fire opal and escape. In the end, Thiazzi died.

(4) On a scale of one to five, how would I compare this book to others I have read?
     Awesome! It’s ’5.’ I would recommend this book because it shows the right emotions at the right time. 

Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary (Book 4)

     Brandon Mull, 527 pages, Science fiction

(2) When and where the story takes place. Also choose one important character from this book. 
     This story takes place in a dragon sanctuary called Wyrmroost. Gavin is a very important character in this story. He is a master dragon tamer. He is actually a devil dragon prince called Navarog in disguise. He used to be Kendras friend but betrayed her. He is literally the Sphinx’s pet dragon but is actually way more powerful than the Sphinx.

(3) Briefly summarize the main events of the story.
     In the beginning of the story, Kendra, grandma, grandpa, Tanu and Gavin found out that the key to the next artifact is at a dragon sanctuary/deathtrap called Wyrmroost. In the middle, the team has to battle the three guardians of Wyrmroost and beat them to get the key. After they get the key. Kendra gets attacked by a dragon but then Gavin turns into a huge black demon dragon called Navarog. After he kills the dragon, he eats one of Kendra’s friends and kills another one. But after he turns into human form, one of the dragon eats him. In the end, the team goes back to Fablehaven and then find out that the bad guys kidnapped their parents.

(4) On a scale of one to five, how would I compare this book to others I have read?
     It’s ’5.’  I would recommend this book because it introduces the characters very well and has funny (sometimes unusual) endings.
