I was drifting down a hill, marvelling at the sight of the hills and fields in front of me bathed in a beautiful golden light from the setting sun, the air fresh and heavy with the smells of the countryside and the acrid dust of the towns we were passing through, and I realised it was a perfect moment.
I‘d stopped worrying about the schedule or about how many miles we had chipped off the grand total each day. I was no longer worried about when or where we would have lunch and I‘d managed to flush out my concerns about bigger issues, such as my future. For the first time in a long, long while, nothing was troubling me. - P217
