Urasawa Naoki never disappoints me. Monster was awesome, Yawara and Happy were both touching, and this. As always, Keaton is very attractive and humble character. He is so damn talented in many things, but so laid back -or wishing to be laid back. If I must compare, Master Keaton is on the same line as Monster (which is his later master piece horror-psychology thriller), but with lighter feeling. It is not like we're-all-doomed-if-Kenjo-fails, but rather 'Keaton-san! gambattene! (keep it going, Keaton!)' kind of feeling. @_@ Do I make sense?

Due to the kind of story it has, Master Keaton is quite episodic. If you have read Kindaichi's accident log or Metantei Konan, you'll know what I mean. It is IMPOSSIBLE to have main character continuously working on only one case and still be interesting, right? It would be really really dead-boring. Besides, there are more than 15 volumes out already for Master Keaton, I would HATE it if it was so. Lucky me, it is not. heehee. ^_^;;; Good art, action, suspence, touching stories..... I loved it.

While reading this, I thought, what if Kenjo and Keaton meets? That would be really interesting, wouldn't it? Sort of like... Trent Reznor (NIN) and Scott Weiland (STP) of manga world? ............nah. Now I'm REALLY forcing it. >_<
