Adachi Mitsuru has to be one of my favorite authors in that her redering skills and her stories are a true perfection, and Touch is just that.
Mitsuru's drawing style has evolved only a little bit since Touch, but behind her simple character style, there is amazing accuracy in anatomy, and hyper realistic back grounds. Mitsuru's style comes to life in character movements, be it throwing a baseball at 100 miles per hour or hitting it over the fence. Also, dialogues she writes is truly powerful.
Tatsuya and Kazuya are twins, yet only similarity they share is their looks. The younger Kazuya is a super star and a workaholic whereas Tatsuya is lazy and silly. The twins grow up with a child hood friend Minami but now they are old enough to recognize her as a potential bride. With incredible turn of events, that I can't unveil here, but read for yourself!!!

Though many might disagree, Clamp is not the most polished in drawing correct anatomy, and it often shows. However, one thing that they do well is rendering beautiful faces and cinematic scenes... and X delievers that. Extremely violent and gory, but very necessary blood is spilled all over the pages.

If I think RG Veda lacked in its story telling,(also written by Clamp, aka Sung Jun)then X provides a dark, exciting and fast paced (though the comics themselves don't come out quickly enough) story. Characters are very intriguing and many things are at stake in the story!

The chosen one, 'Kamui' has to decide whether he will be apart of the 'land dragons', who represents perpetual future or the 'heaven's dragons' who represents the destroyers. However, the battle between the dragons are inevitable, as whichever spot Kamui takes, the other party will be led by an equally powerful and Kamui's best friend, Fuma.

This Choi Yoo Gi is somewhat unique in its style and portrayal of otherwise well known characters from similarly titled novel Seo Yoo Gi in that the characters are very contrasting to the original. The art is very hard to read and quite ugly. The story is even less interesting. I could'nt find one thing I liked except that the characters were somewhat fascinating. All in all pretty boring.

Story is set in a world where fiends(?) and men coexist. However, for some reason, these fiends go bad and start eating humans, which spells end to their coexistence. A selected band of heroes, which carry the names of famous characters from Seo Yoo Gi are sent out to find out just why this is happening.

Through Aladdin's review I thought I'd order Mr.Naoki's 'Monster', although his work is not familiar to me. I was very impressed with it in the beginning, especially by his exceptional drawings. Though not detailed, simple lines are chosen in ever so perfect manner.

The story, begins with excitement, drawing me in as a reader. However, I thought he was dragging things on too much though with each line spoken by the characters it keeps its excellence. I would've loved giving it the five stars, but, something held me back.

The story is about a Japanese doctor who studied and practiced medicine in Germany. Despite his seemingly uncanny success as a brain surgeon, his promotion is halted when he chooses to operate on a child who came in before a famous politician. He regrets his decision, not because he wanted to be promoted but the child he brought back to life is the one.... Monster.

바사라 BASARA 1

Yumi's epic 'BASARA' is only sad because so many male fans will miss out on it since it's a 'soonjung manhwa', a comic for girls. However otherwise, it is spectacular.

Executed in a rather rough drawing style, at a first glance the reader might turn away, since it doesn't come into your eyes right away. But as you sit down and read it, it won't leave your hands for long time guaranteed. The art is just perfect for the story and the story just leaves you sighing in awe. Situated in an imaginary land that is 'Japan'.

A tale about a young girl of destiny, a twin brother is dubbed as such instead of her to conceal her true fate. As her brother is murdered by young 'king of the red' she decides she will pose as her dead brother, all the while that she IS the chosen one. Within the furiously paced adventure of her and her friends, she finds her true love in a dangerous one.
