1947년 35주간 1위를 차지한 1집에 이어서 1948년에는 Al Jolson Souvenir Album Volume III가 발매가 되면서 14주간이라는 놀라운 기간동안 빌보드 앨범차트 1위를 차지하게 됩니다. 알 졸슨의 이 Souvenir Album 시리즈는 향후 6집까지 발매가 되며 계속된 인기를 누리게 되니, 참으로 대단한 시리즈라 할 수 있겠네요. (2집은 1949년에 발매, 위 자켓사진은 1집 것 차용하였으며 알 졸슨의 이야기는 이전 글 참조)
현재 구매가 가능한 CD 버전으로는 2004년 5월 Universal UK에서 2CD로 발매된 Let Me Sing and I'm Happy 라는 앨범이 제격인 것 같습니다. 40년대 중반에서 50년까지 알 졸슨의 베스트 앨범성격의 편집인데, 전작인 Souvenir Album 1집의 수록곡 8곡을 모두 수록하고 있으며, Souvenir Album 3집의 경우도 6번 트랙을 제외한 나머지 7곡을 모두 담고 있어서 최선의 선택으로 보여 소개합니다.
