Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban is the third
book of the Harry Potter series and in this book, Harry began to meet new and
different characters, such as Dementors, Professor Lupin, Sirius Black, and Buk
Beek. The main character of this book is Harry Potter and Sirius Black. Sirius Black
is James potter’s best friend and the godfather of Harry, but he has been
framed by Peter Pettigrew.
As a mentioned
before, the key character and the key plot line in this book is that of Sirius
Black and Peter Pettigrew framed him like he is a murderer. Sirius was sent to
Azkaban, a name of a prison. By this, Sirius was so angry that he escaped
Azkaban and tried to kill Peter, however people thought Sirius was going to
kill Harry Potter because he was going to Hogwarts.
Another new
characters are Dementors and Professor Lupin. Firstly, Dementors are the guards
of Azkaban and their mission is to capture Sirius Black. Dementor’s weapon is
the Dementor’s kiss, which can suck all the good and happy memory of their
brain. Once the Dementor’s kiss occurs, his or her soul come up. Secondly,
Professor Lupin is a professor for teaching defence against the dark arts. He
is also the man that saved Harry in the train. Unfortunately, he is a werewolf,
so his friends, James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew are animagus, a
skill that he or she can change the shape to an animal. Lupin teaches Harry
Potter the Patronus Charm.
I think this
book was interesting to read. Also, I think the Author, J.K Rowling is very
creative. As a result, I think that this book is an excellent book for people
looking for creative non-fiction book or students.
