Now, speak this aloud as a fervent declaration of who you are as a modern-day fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy.
Conclusion: Speak the words of Isaiah 60:1-3 once more, inserting your name as before. This time declare it with the passion that increases your faith, testifies to your destiny, and testifies to the earthly and spiritual realms with what authority you operate. Say it several times until you sense God’s witness that a work has been done in and through you.
Cement your house in prayer: Create a "demon-free zone" in God’s favorite house. Pour out your heart to Him for your life. Begin to praise Him for all that He is to all that you aren’t. Conduct spiritual warfare for your own life and give the enemy notice that God’s glory will be in your house. Let the gates of hell fail because the light of God’s glory shines on your heart.
"When the heavens are open and God’s light shines on the darkness, every demon and dark work is forced out because the gates of hell can never prevail or even put up a respectable fight when the very presence of the King of glory shows up. Conduct spiritual warfare for your church and city in the same way God conducts it in Heaven and you’ll create a ‘DFZ’ (a demon-free zone)!"
God in the House! So let’s turn on the lights! "Pray and worship Him until the windows of Heaven open wide over your church and city. Worship Him until the light of His glory shines upon you." (See page 95.) Take the time right now to worship God in such a way as to sense a breakthrough on behalf of your church and/or city. Usher God’s manifest presence into the room in which you are right now. Watch Him wage the spiritual warfare and cast the devil down while you worship Him. Let it be an acceptable sacrifice so that God will habitate with you and abide throughout the rest of your day.
"God, I want to be a person who props open the windows of Heaven so much that people will have an encounter with You just by being around me."

피니의 삶 속에 거하시는 하나님의 능력으로 인해 뉴욕의 유티카 시내 전체가 극적으로 변화되었다.
그는 깊이 있는 기도생활과 하나님과의 친밀한 관계를 사모하는 마음으로 가슴이 불타올랐던 사람이다.
피니가 1800년대 말 유티카의 직물 공장 지역을 걸어갈 때, 하나님의 임재가 너무나 강하게 나타나 그가 입을 열기도 전에 직공들은 무릎을 꿇고 회개하기 시작했다고 한다!
결국 도시 전체와 지역 사람들은 그가 담고 있는 하나님의 임재에 강한 영향을 받았다.
그것은 마치 그가 빛을 운반하고 다녀서 사람들로 하여금 갑자기 자기 자신과 하나님을 제대로 바라볼 수 있게 해 주는 것 같았다.
사람들은 그분의 임재가 가까이 다가올 때 자신은 더럽고 하나님은 거룩하시다는 것을 깨달았다! 이것이야말로 이사야의 예언이 현대에 성취된 사건이다. (사 60:1-3)
