말로만 사랑을 고백하지 말고 모든 행위로 고백하라는 뜻입니다." 주님을 사랑한다는 고백은 삶을 통해 모두에게 증명되어야 하는 무게가 동반됩니다. 우리가 주님을 향해 사랑을 고백할 때면 우리의 삶을 함께 드리는 것입니다.
한줄노트 진정한 사랑은 큰소리치는 ‘선언‘이 아니라, 전 인격적인 삶을 통한 ‘고백‘입니다. - P79

주님의질문은 우리를 사명으로 이끄시는 필연적인 과정입니다. ‘아픈 만큼 성숙해진다‘
는 말은 신앙에 있어서도 변하지 않는 진리입니다. - P80

주님의 질문기 아프게 우리 삶에 파고들 때, 진정한 회개의 열매와 깊은 소명이 찾아옵니다.
하나님께서 우리를 찾아와 주시는 아픔은 큰 선물입니다. 우리는 주님의 뼈아픈질문을 통해 주님을 깊이 사랑하는 자신을 깨닫게 됩니다. 그리스도인으로 철이든 우리는 "주여 주께서 모든 것을 아십니다"라고 고백할 것입니다. - P80

사람들은 다 아직은 자신이 남과 나눌만한 형편이 못 된다고 한다. 조금만 더 풍족해지면, 조금만 더 성공하고 나면 나누겠다고 한다. 그러나 지금있는 작은 것부터 나누지 못하면, 나중에 큰 것도 나누지 못한다. 다윗은광야의 도망자 신세이면서도 자신의 동족들과 있는 것을 나누는 하나님의 사람이었다. - P138

어쩌면 우리의 우물에서 더 이상 샘물이 나오지 않는 것은 우리의 인색함때문인지도 모른다. 얼마나 많이 가졌는가를 생각하지 말고 얼마나 많이나누었는가를 생각해보라. 그 기준으로 지금껏 살아온 인생을 반성해보라.
아무리 힘들고 어려운 환경에 있다 해도, 결심하고 기도하며 하나님의 흘려보내는 손이 되어 보라. 그러면 하나님께서 우리의 곳간을 마르지 않게 채우실 것이다.
우리도 다윗처럼 내게로부터 눈을 돌려 하나님을 보기 시작하자. 그렇게하면, 비록 지금 광야에 있어도 우리는 놀라운 주의 역사를 경험할 것이다. - P139

 He encourages them to take heart in the face of upcomingtrials, assuring them of His victory. - P143

Jesus explains that He came from the Father and is about to return to Him, and the disciples will also have fellowship with the Father, being able to ask Him directly in Jesus’ name. - P144

We have the security of knowing that the Father loves and hears us just as He loves and hears His Son. - P144

we face different kinds of troubles. However, we can have peace and take heart in remembering the victory of Christ - P144

This earthly ministry. Their relationship with the Father, Son, and HolySpirit becomes their solid foundation for joy and peace amid the troublesof this world. - P145

Our peace is anchored inour union with Jesus Christ, who has triumphed over sin and death. Thegreatest challenge humanity faces is the suffering caused by sin and death,
which robs us of joy and peace. However, when we build our foundationon Jesus, who has already attained perfect joy and peace, we resemble thewise man who builds his house on the rock.  - P145

No matter what troubles weencounter, we will not fall because our foundation is solid in Christ. - P145

Dear God, thank you that You love me and hear all my prayers. In times of struggle, remind me of the victory of Christ, so that I may persevere as I experience Your unwavering peace. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. - P145

주님께 순종하면 세상이 우리를 조롱할 수 있습니다. 순종을 가능케 하는 것은우리의 믿음입니다. 순종이 주님을 좇아 빛 가운데 행하는 것임을 믿습니다.  - P74

"아버지께서 일하시니 나도 일한다"(요 5:17). 주님과 함께 일하는 것은 우리보다 앞서서 일하신 주님을 좇아가는 것입니다. 순종하는 자는 주님과 동행하는 사람입니다. 주님의 능력을 경험하며 살아가는 사람입니다. - P74

우리는 과거에 실패했던 기억으로 인해 주님의 능력을 제한하려 합니다. 그러나오히려 불가능한 일이기 때문에 주님께 부탁해야 합니다. 당시 맹인이 눈을 뜨는 건 불가능한 일이었지만, 주님과 완전히 일치된 바디매오에게는 옛 삶의 흔적이 남지 않게 되었습니다.  - P75

중요한 사실은 그분의 전능하심을 믿고 나아온 바디매오의 기도를 들어주셨다는 것입니다. 바디매오의 믿음과 주님의 능력이 만나 맹인이 눈을 뜨게 되었습니다. "믿음이란 주님께서 하신 말씀의 내용만을 믿기보다주님 그분을 믿는 것입니다." - P75

Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. - P138

22So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. - P139

24Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. - P139

 Jesus tells them they will weep and mourn whilethe world rejoices but their grief will turn to joy when He sees them again, andno one will take away their joy. - P139

let us remember that we have a sovereign and good God who already knows what is best and can guide us into greater understanding.

No matter our struggles, we are reminded that we have a continual connection with God. Because of Jesus, we have the joy of knowing that we can pray directly to Him and receive all that He has for us. - P140

Heavenly Father, thank you for helping me understand Your ways. When I experience confusion and grief, may I remember the joy of Your salvation and offer praise and thanksgiving to You. In Jesus’ name, amen. - P141

we can revel in the joyof knowing Jesus‘ death and resurrection, His ascension, and the sendingof the Holy Spirit, which have completely changed our lives. With theguidance of the Spirit, let us pursue and persevere in our growth in theknowledge of God. - P141
