그러니까 볶은 콩에서도 싹이 난다. 이 말씀은 콩을 볶을 때다 볶는 것 같은데도 거기서 몇 알은 튀어나가는 것을 의미하지. 그 튕겨나간 푸른 콩이 흙에 묻혀서 어느 봄날 푸른 싹을틔워내기도 하는 운명. 그러니까, 가장 비극적인 풍경 속에서피어난 콩알 하나는 희망의 콩알이지. 그건 인간에게 내린 선물, 기적의 또다른 이름이지. 그럼에도, 그 혹독한 생을 뚫고살아낸, 살아남은 용감한 자들에게 수그려 할 수 있는 말이지,
지상의 통곡이 피워올린 희망의 말씀이시지.
