 이보영과 월터 포어맨이 EBS 방송에서 진행하는 본 교재, 『귀가 트이는 영어』의 라디오 방송은 매주 월요일~토요일까지  오전 06:40부터 시작해서 7시까지 방송이 된다. 지난 2월의 2년반 과정의 대학원을 마치고, 부근의 대학교에서 전공인 전기관련 강의를 맡게 되면서 영어에 대한 부담을 더 갖게 된 듯 하다. 강의를 회사의 내부사정으로 한 학기 만에 그만두게 되었지만, 그 부담감을 덜기위해 매일매일 새벽에 일어나 영어공부를 하고 있는 남편이 3월부터 변경하여 사용하는 교재이다. 지난 2월까지는 『EBS 라디오 EASY ENGLISH』를 먼저 시작해서 사용했는데, 이로는 뭔가 부족함을 느끼고는, 『EBS 라디오 김대균 토익킹』까지 추가로 함께해 왔고, 『EBS 라디오 EASY ENGLISH』 대신에 새로운 이 교재, 『EBS 라디오 귀가 트이는 영어』를 시작해서고, 꾸준히 이른 시간에 일어나 영어공부를 진행해 왔다. 해가 바뀌면서 시간 내기가 점점 힘들어지는지, 이달부터는 『EBS 라디오 김대균 토익킹』만 구입해서 한 가지만 진행하겠다고 해서 이번 달에는 이 교재를 구입하지 않았다. 귀가 다소 트였는지는 알 수 없는 노릇이다.

1지금까지 쉬지않고 꾸준히 잘 해왔으니, 귀가 화~악 트이기를 바라며, 이제 2017년을 새롭게 시작하는 시점에 있으니 이번 해에도 보다 나은 실력으로 발돋음 하기를 바래 본다. 여직까지 잘 해오고 있으니, 보다 눈부신 2017년 새해를 맞게 되기를 바랄 뿐이다. 그리고 좀처럼 올라갈 줄 모르는 토익 시험 성적도 보다 향상되기를 바래본다.
